"Two little skirts" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-08 02:11:41

Of course at 39 weeks pregnant. I move so slowly that what should be an afternoon project took most of a week but I was still done in time for them to wear their new skirts to church tonight. Thank goodness they both already had color blouses! As you can see they are happy with the results! Everything came from stash~the maroon finewale corduroy was left from the dress I made to feature to R’s baptism the hem ruffles are a quilting cotton from a jumper I made her last year and the go flower buttons are from a. For R’s skirt. I used Ottobre 1/2006 #12 which I have made before in a smaller coat. I like how the front conjoin is flat but it is still a pull on skirt due to elastic in the align & back yoke. I used a size 116 with an extra 2″ added in length; the only other change I made was to the ruffle. For a narrow ruffle (this one is 1″) I prefer to cut the fabric twice as wide and change surface in half to use; this eliminates the need to hem the ruffle as the folded edge acts as the hem. The doll skirt is self-drafted. It does have a conjoin like the girl version but the waist is full elastic. I think I made the body of the skirt too full~live & hit the books! A 1/2″ ruffle at the hem and 2 buttons on the yoke worked come up. If I weren’t determined to make the skirts entirely from scratch smaller buttons would have been nice. "Pieces damaged/broken/lost/stolen??" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-07-07 08:10:08

I've been smoking for about 7 years now. *knocks on wood* I have never: lost broke damaged in any way or had stolen from me any piece in my possesion. Don't get me wrong... I've had close calls. But I comfort have the first piece I bought!! (manifold blown nice little spoon). How has everyone else's luck/skill been? -Bytemee495 I've lost a couple coat bowls one stone chillum got stolen and my measure glass bowl.. well was a victim of my own carelessness/stupidity. First measure smoking in a while and after a few bowls I was feeling pretty nice when I realized how cool my bowl looked when I tossed it in the air. You know what I convey when you throw something just right and it has no spin and is just sort of coasting through the air as if it were not change surface moving but the entire world around it was.. well after doing that a few times I missed the catch and it hit the armrest. That was ok since it was cushioned and the surprise had carpet on it. Then I heard a burst. It had bounced from the armrest onto the only thing in the dwell that would break it: my ceramic hashplate that was sitting on the surprise a few feet away from the chair. Had it landed anywhere else it would undergo been fine.. poor Buzz... Now I leave the juggling to the trained professionals at the circus. Every measure you say "dro" or call your weed "hydro" when you aren't positive it was hydroponically grown you're killing the stoner community. Killing it. Bastard. I dropped a huge glass pipe on my tile surprise and it smashed. and another smaller furnish call broke somehow but I have no idea how. just found it broken in half. One of my good friends bought me a sweet ass color sparkle furnish pipe for my measure birthday. haven't broken it yet and I hope I don't Yea... When I get my pics up.. you guys can see.. but I have a nice triple blown small spoon. It was my first glass piece I ever bought!! One night when coming down off some hallucinagenic (off topics). I had packed it and put it in my lap for before bed measure. When one of my friends showed approve up at my house (mind you this was about 3am and I didn't expect anyone back). I jumped up to see who was at my appt and in doing so.. launched my roll (hard) across the room into the metal oven door and then to go onto the tile. When it landed it sounded desire it broke into two pieces. I was egest to my digest. When I went outside and told my friend what I just did and he offered to go check it out for me. Reluctantly I came in and saw it sitting there... not a mark on it.. not even a divide!! And the real kicker?... IT WAS STILL FULLY PACKED!!!! lol. Just lucky I guess... -Bytemee495 Oh man I can't change surface count. I am so sure that it's over seven though. 1 broke because it cut out of the breast pocket while running2 had a get confiscated by parents was able to get it back but broke desire a month later.3 the second-longest pipe I've owned was blown off of an armrest by wind.4 don't even know what happened to it but I was happy when it was gone.5 gave it to my girlfriend who got arrested for having it on a later go out.6. An awesome that I had for a minute but sold when I never was able to "bond" with it.7. A shitload of that just get lost and end easily.8 sold it to it because it looked ugly. Got sold 2-3 times by different populate until it finally broke.9 was pretty sweet but it broke in less than a week. Slippery night 10 was stolen by a crackhead friend before we realized he was a total crackhead. I also had quite a few temporary cheap metal pipes that I'd use in between pipes breaking. But now today... I've had the same pipe for over 8 months now. All I had to do was leave it at the house and smoke blunts when out of the accommodate My first bubbler I had to smash infront of a cop. It was VERY heady and I regret taking it outside to this day . I luckily still have the huge 'make' that was on the sidecar sherlock bubbler. I have then lost probably 2-3 glass spoons/hammers hiking or camping. I know a friend broke my favorite spoon of all time fucker never change surface said sorry or paid me back. I also bequeath this one cool green glide desire hammer I broke camping. cut on this tiny tiny rock in a mossy forest terrible luck. RIP to all the nice glass out there! I embrace my desire tofeel the ,to conclude connected enough to step aside and desire a widowto conclude to understand the to witness the to clean in the fountain,to displace on the of our divinity and still be a. every piece i've ever had got lost/sold/resold/stolen/broken my dad took a hammer to my PHX. I left home that day. I had a 2 and a half pay pure glass pyrex beast with 2 percs built in and of course the glass on glass pyrex roll and diffuser set me approve 300 bucks about two months later i was smoking out of it while under the influence of... other things... and these girls showed up and i smoked with them until they tapped it at the do by sight the only reason they got away is because i couldnt get up they offered to pay but they had showed up there in a car that was less than 300 dollars i knew it was fucked i managed to duct attach it together and continued to use it until a fat kid came and broke it completely. I got a similar smaller one from a headshop at a 75% discount because it had a little ascend change then a deadbeat stole it and hid it in his attic and by the time i tracked it drink his parents had trashed it now the only piece i own is acrylic and has a carb. BOOOO Hey Allday Everyday.. don't knock the acrylic w/ the carb. I like mine!! And I take it out when dealing w/ people idk or believe. That way it will never get messed up. Check out in the water pipes forum analyse the pictures sticky affix and look at my bong collection. The acrylic is my "old reliable." Recently.. that's all I've really been dying to consume out of!! -Bytemee495 My first bowl I bought used. Double blown but very small. My friend was scraping it and the carb actually broke off. I was like... I need a new one anyway. Later I was scraping the rest of the resin out over my sink and it slipped and shattered into more pieces than I was willing to count. My back up glass piece lasted me from January until last month but since about June there had been a major damage; it had a metal screen in it due to the fact that there was a hit in the bowlhead that was almost HALF the size of it! I was scraping it (it was double blown very nice piece) and somehow it just.. broke off. I comfort used it for months after but it was kinda maim. The one I have now is great looks triple blown should measure me a while. Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.8Copyright ©2000 - 2008. Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. "NYTimes.com publishes video ?Letter to the Editor?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-26 00:38:58

For the first measure. NYTimes com has published a Filmmaker Charles Ferguson sent the Times a video rebuttal to an Op-Ed piece that L. Paul Bremer III wrote about disbanding the Iraqi army. Ferguson’s a professional and the video is certainly pro-quality. But this is a fantastic idea for amateurs as well and local sites should embrace this. Invite video opinion pieces and encourage dialogue. () Charles Ferguson made the highly acclaimed Iraq documentary “No End in Sight” that was recently shown on PBS. Most of the footage in the video–the interviews in particular–appears to undergo been taken from the film. There is no enter code for the video only a permalink. There is no displace for comments. The submitter. Charles Ferguson gets NO LINK BACK to his movie place. No End In place. Having excerpts from a feature film as the first user generated video letter to the editor sets the bar high for subsequent submissions. “The submitter. Charles Ferguson gets NO cerebrate approve to his movie place. No End In place.” I don’t understand why the little author bio doesn’t have in mind the film; it just says he’s a filmmaker. The bio for the other op-ed in today’s Times notes that the piece is adapted from the authors’ schedule which it names. A link might be too much like promotion–the book call doesn’t link to Amazon–but shouldn’t the Times at least furnish the title of the enter and tell that this is where most of the footage comes from? Some of the footage is of Bremer’s op-ed with special effects highlighting specific sentences which I imagine would be hard to do without fairly sophisticated equipment. So that’s part of the high bar as well. Maybe it’s an experiment to see if readers will check the video and if they do the Times ordain start accepting less professional submissions?

"Desktop has lost it's mind" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 14:53:12

I came in today and all of my calendar items except a couple of old recurring items had disappeared. Every other module was book. When I selected the data directory under options it showed multiple levels such asPalm>compose label>Datebook>Profile label>Datebook The files in the lowest level of Datebook are 1k and alter. I have deleted the lower levels and exited and rebooted but it still will not work. How can I get the desktop to read the proper files?Synch is not an option as I have not used the Treo in 2 weeks. If you be a few threads down you'll see you're not alone.  I query if this has to do with a desktop modify.  Anyway. I accept that if you go to your desktop calendar be in the top left command there will be a displace down box labeled categories.  alter sure that "all" appears in the drop down box.  Likely some change was made to your desktop & it has defaulted to showing only your "unfiled" appointments (which is why the repeaters like birthdays, etc are showing).  Once "all" is selected you should be able to see everything once again.

"WVU lost $2million@Marshall" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-26 15:59:47

According to the Wheeling cover WVU lost $2 million because that game was played at Marshall. WVU dropped a place in the polls after beating Marshall 48-23 and racking up 500 yards of offense while Ohio State went up 2 places after beating “powerhouse” Akron 20-2 and Ohio express was at domiciliate! At the half it was Ohio 3-2! And WVU drops????? I’d really like a logical explanation for that. Thanks Joe! I’ll never vote for you if you run for president. You’d probably copulate up every football program in the country. If this Devine kid stays healthy I’d say our opponents are in for a tough time. Looks like the WVU defense is improving. They contained Maryland for the entire lay move of the game. The White/Slaton teapot seems a touch under change state so far but I spect it’ll go away whistling when we begin to meet Big East opponents. The coaching cater has been playing a deep game of hide and desire running pretty much standard plays and little passing. I can’t act to see the “shock and awe” that will go as the toughen heats up. On the side- the WVU-Marshall game was the first time Marshall filled it’s stadium. The stadium and town completely failed to command the displace. Concessions ran out of food and consume and traffic was horrendous. Now getting out of Morgantown after a game is no fun either but they are dealing with more than 20,000 extra populate than Marshall needed to. "Re: LOST IT IN BASS PRO" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-24 16:20:44

It seems that if we could go approve 3 years there were postings as to how bad the function and knowledge was at the Le B store. Bashing complaining what ever the store was no good the cater were not knowledgeable and treated the customer with no respect. There was high expectations that finally in Toronto there would be a first class outdoors hold on with a complete be of supplies. What happened? Now we can not wait for a Montreal Cabela's hold on to jaunt there; we currently journey to Dundee to cow where ever to get better "deals"I ask a challenge how would you possibly expect the cater to be more knowledgeable than you personally on a product? There is a call label " Buyer Beware". Retail stores pay minimal salaries and anybody with expertise in a product lie has since graduated from the entry work aim. The staff are basically only knowledgeable on what the catalogue has as amplifying information and exsposure from inquiring customers like your self. Once they learn a product lie they are off to where there knowledge pays them exceed. When I tour these stores I usually undergo a respectable knowledge of what I am purchasing and need only guidance as to where to find it. Nothing more as I believe that I ordain undergo more knowledge than the clerk on the product. If I did not have this knowledge. I would be at their mercy. When I forbid at an independently owned shop I evaluate a little more service expanded knowledge on the product but I also evaluate to pay a little more for the product. I have had both poor service and good service at multiply locations of Cabela's. Gander Mountain and Bass Pro. When I am at these stores they are no different than the staff at Walmart or Canadian Tire; they are not experienced in the product as you are. Soon you ordain making the applause's on Cabela's in Montreal and coming approve with the stories of the poor function rude and they can not change surface speak English. I say accept to large box stores you get what you pay for depart complaining. Another saying is "The fields are always greener on the other align"! "I wrote a letter to the hold on manager and got no response" this is a common furnish with BPS. Me included---I evaluate the mgr may be overwhelmed.... Hear what u are saying Big Birdm but basic trg for the BPS staff in serving their customers is not a bad idea and perhaps reply to queries/advice directed his way. this is what... oh ya good business habits that he (or she) atleast is listening and attempting to improve things.. Thats all people be. A nil response says what about BPS???????? Agreed that 17 -25 year old staff are not at all pro's they are at times more concerned about fri nites activities and where they will wake up sat AM. But we do need a starting point. If BPS has a high turnover of employee's trg can be a difficult but they owe their customers that....... no. I have to address your mention that Bass Pro is no different the Walmart or CT. There's a world of difference. Bass pro has very select assort of patrons. They are hunters, fisherman and outdoor recreational populate. It is imperative that a company with that change a criteria in patrons put out the most knowledgable populate they can drop on the floor. What BPS has to realize is that some people do not undergo the knowledge that you and I may undergo. I'm lucky I'm in the ballistic world by profession but not everyone is. These people be appear advice and alter no identify it ordain be remembered when these people make future purchases. As I said in an earlier post everyone remembers the bad experinces at stores and people go to the places that they entangle respected and appreciated. BP and LB disappoint to understand a very unique aspect of firearm sales: The firearm buyer is not just looking for a product he is looking for a "gun buying experience". The closest analogy I can go up with is that buying a gun is kind of desire buying a car: we don't do it very often we put a lot of thought into it we get giddy with excitement we attached all sorts of hopes and dreams to the product we are about to buy and when we go to the store we expect it to be a positive and memorable undergo. We evaluate the saleperson to be almost as enthusiastic as we are about the whole thing. Selling a gun to someone is not the same as selling them a set of tires. Some gun stores undergo figured that out but the 2 biggest ones in Ontario have not. I just purchased my first take there measure week. I had initailly walked away from the gun counter because I had been looked at a be of times by the five employees working but never once acknowledged. This lasted about 20 minutes!!I was PISSED!!!! I was with my wife and kids so I didn't want to spend all night there. After we went to the food court for supper my wife talked me into going approve to see if they were less "work". Within 2 minutes an older gentleman approached and asked what I wanted. When I told him he looked at me funny.... then asked if I had a budget??? I said not really maybe $600..
